Sriracha Tiger Zoo is a sanctuary for tigers and other animals which located in the close vicinity of Pattaya, in Chonburi province. It is about 18 miles outside of Pattaya and very easily reached by car.

Therefore it is up to you as to whether you want to visit it or not. It is best to be honest about such situations so that you can make up your own mind. There are also a number of other species of animals who offer all sorts of entertainment for the old, young and young at heart. You will have no trouble filling your time at the zoo. You can spend hours simply watching the tigers, or if you would prefer, you can get more interactive and have your photo taken with a young cub. The tigers are all kept in natural surroundings and like nothing better than lazing the day away. There is also a circus on site where you can visit to watch the tigers perform in a show. You can feed and ride elephants, pet the pigs and piglets, watch the exciting pig races and enjoy demonstrations by an amazing Scorpion Queen and crocodile experts. Dare devil crocodile handlers actually put their heads in the crocs’ mouths as well as kiss them and play with them; this part is certainly not to be tried at home! |

There are many options for food and drinks available around the park and throughout the gardens. This park literally has something for everyone and is a great place to spend the day if you need a break from the beach. It is very easily reached, you can hire a taxi from Pattaya Beach Road or join an organised tour which are held daily by one of the many travel agents around the resort. Your hotel can also arrange the trip for you and can sort out transportation if need be. If you are organising your own taxi, be sure to agree a fare in advance to prevent altercations at the other end!
